Job summary

Groome Industrial Services is seeking a Laborer to perform various general manual labor tasks for a travel-intensive role. The position offers overtime, weekend work, and comprehensive benefits as part of a safety-focused team.

Overtime and weekend availability is expected. Applicants must be 18+, pass background checks and drug screens, and have a HS diploma or GED. TWIC is a plus. Reading, writing, basic math, and physical stamina are required for up to 12-hour shifts in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work overtime and weekends, if required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have acceptable ID, pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Possession of a TWIC card is a plus but not a requirement.
• Must understand verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Ability to lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
• Move in and around confined, cluttered and uneven areas.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.

Responsibilities

• This is a 100% travel job; travel is provided in company vehicles
• Assists in maintaining an organized set of supplies and equipment.
• Ensures equipment is placed and returned to its proper storage location.
• Consistently keeps a clean, well-maintained, and organized work area.
• Always complies with all safety requirements.
• Complies with all company policies, and safety practices.
• Work productively as a member of the team.
