Job summary

CK Construction is seeking a dependable construction laborer to support crews on site. Tasks include clean-up, material handling, scaffolding, forming concrete, and demolitions as needed. You will help ensure trades have what they need to complete the job.

Candidates should be able to lift 50-100 pounds, work from ladders and heights, follow directions, and stand for long periods. Some construction experience preferred; a HS diploma or GED is desirable.

Qualifications

• Some construction experience preferred; high‑school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to work rapidly and accurately with hands.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 50‑100 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be able to work rapidly and accurately with hands.
• Must be able to repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding and carry tools and equipment.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights as required.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 50‑100 pounds.
• Must be able to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
• Must be able to follow specific directions.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to judge straight lines, spaces, and proportions.
• Must be able to read and understand measuring tools and levels.
• Must be able to compare and see differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.

Education and Experience

• Some construction experience is preferred; high‑school diploma or GED preferred.
