Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA is hiring a Laborer for our Warren, OH facility. The role involves a variety of physical tasks to support plant operations, including cleaning, lifting, and moving materials. In-house training is provided for Crane/Forklift certification, and applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience necessary for the role.
• Crane/Forklift certification obtainable through in-house training.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively.
• Proper use of safety equipment such as boots, hard hat, glasses and gloves.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of physical tasks in support of plant operations such as shoveling, sweeping, cleaning of equipment and parts.
• Conduct media blasting, finishing, painting and general ground maintenance.
• Lift and move heavy objects; clean and prepare job sites; collect and deliver tools.
• Move office furniture and assist with related tasks as needed.
• Possibility to drive a company vehicle for short distance trips.

We are looking to hire for the position of Laborer at our Warren, OH Facility.

• Performs a variety of physical tasks in support of plant operations such as shoveling, sweeping, cleaning of equipment and parts, media blasting, finishing, painting, general ground maintenance, lifting and moving heavy objects, cleaning and preparing job sites, collecting and delivering tools and equipment and moving office furniture
• May be required to drive a company vehicle for short distance trips
• Other work may be assigned by manager

Experience/Education/Skills/Abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• No experience necessary
• Crane/Forklift – In-house training provided to obtain certification
• Ability to use Hand Tools
• Proper use of safety equipment such as safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
