Performs laborer duties in support of the Redstone Arsenal Installation Support Services contract, including loading, unloading, and moving materials, assisting other craftsmen, and maintaining work areas.
Loads and unloads trucks, containers, and operates conveyances such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, or wheelbarrows to move supplies and materials to designated locations.
Stacks materials for storage or binning, collects reusable, recyclable, or disposable materials, and assists in salvaging materials.
Moves, collects, and arranges various types of materials, office and household furniture, equipment, and appliances.
Assists other craftsmen with their daily duties as needed.
Cleans work areas, equipment, and tools through sweeping, washing, or moving barrels and bins.
Performs heavy manual tasks, including lifting up to 80 pounds, loading/unloading trucks, operating jackhammers, etc.
Supports safety initiatives by participating in safety training and adhering to safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Follows all safety and health regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass background checks and drug tests as required.
Willingness to obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) if required.
Ability and willingness to work in inclement weather and lift at least 50 pounds.
U.S. citizenship.
Ability to obtain security clearance up to SECRET or pass a National Agency Check.
