Job summary

Alpha Insulation & Waterproofing, part of the Installed Building Products family, is seeking a laborer to assist with insulation and waterproofing material installation on job sites in Tempe, AZ. You will load, unload, prepare work areas, operate basic tools, and follow safety procedures while maintaining site cleanliness.

Ideal candidates are physically capable, reliable, and able to work outdoors in varying weather. OSHA 10/30 is a plus; training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or labor experience preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the trade.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of insulation, waterproofing materials, firestop systems, expansion joints, and restoration products.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.

• Support skilled trades workers with measurements, mixing materials, and applying coatings.

• Follow directions from supervisors and work cooperatively with team members.
