Job summary

Walsh Reclamation is seeking a Laborer to support exploration, excavation, and reclamation operations across Nevada job sites. You will perform physical tasks under supervision to help the crew build, maintain, and restore mining and exploration sites.

MSHA certification (or ability to obtain before start) and the ability to operate hand and power tools are required. The role may involve travel to remote sites and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Our home office is based in Elko, Nevada, with job sites located throughout the state. Candidates should be prepared to travel to various job sites across Nevada as work assignments require.

Position Summary

The Laborer supports exploration, excavation, and reclamation operations by performing a variety of physical tasks to assist crews with the construction, maintenance, and restoration of mining and exploration sites. Working under the direction of supervisors and equipment operators, this position helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Pay

$18.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Required Qualifications
  • MSHA certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in mining, exploration, reclamation, construction, or excavation
  • Valid driver's license
• Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing throughout the workday
  • Ability to work extended hours, overtime, and travel to remote job sites as required
  • Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and conduct field inspections
