Job summary

Walsh Reclamation Inc. in Nevada is hiring a Laborer to support exploration, excavation, and reclamation tasks on mining sites. You will perform a variety of physical duties to assist the crews with construction, maintenance, and restoration efforts across locations in the state.

Travel to diverse Nevada job sites is required. Candidates must have MSHA certification or be able to obtain it, and must safely operate hand and power tools.

Position Summary

The Laborer supports exploration, excavation, and reclamation operations by performing a variety of physical tasks to assist crews with the construction, maintenance, and restoration of mining and exploration sites. Working under the direction of supervisors and equipment operators, this position helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Pay

$18.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Required Qualifications
  • MSHA certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in mining, exploration, reclamation, construction, or excavation
  • Valid driver's license
• Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing throughout the workday
  • Ability to work extended hours, overtime, and travel to remote job sites as required
  • Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and conduct field inspections
