Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Scottsburg, VA seeks an entry-level General Laborer to assist skilled craft workers on construction sites. You will help set up work, read and follow safety rules, and maintain clean, orderly work areas.

You must be able to climb, work outdoors in all weather, and work overtime as needed. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and learning to use hand and power tools under supervision.

Qualifications

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.
