Job summary

Imerys Great Lakes is seeking a Laborer at our Wurtland, KY plant to support daily operations and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

The Laborer will perform various physical tasks, follow safety standards, and assist with housekeeping, spill cleanup, packaging, and other duties as needed to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to lift, carry, and/or pull objects up to 100 lbs.
• Commitment to safety rules.
• Attention to detail and staying alert to ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs various physical duties to aid daily plant operations.
• Maintain all safety standards and ensure a clean, safe work area.
• Clean up spills and manage housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, brooming, and vacuuming.
• Bar code scanning and packaging as required by production needs.
