Requirements
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- One year trial or probationary period may be required.
- Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
- This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
- A pre-placement medical examination is required.
- Work may be done on 1st or 2nd shift

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element):
Ability to do the work of a(n) Laborer without more than normal supervision. Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, moping, or dusting; and utilize landscaping equipment to maintain lawn and/or grounds, cleaning tools, sharpening blades - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
- Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision
- Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (related to mobile equipment operation)
- Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
- Work Practices (includes keeping things neat, clean and in order)
- Physical Effort: Requires very heavy physical effort such as frequently lifting and moving objects over 50 pounds (moving, setting up and working from ladders and scaffolds).
- Working Condition: Works outside in all kinds of weather and inside in areas that may be dusty, dirty, noisy and have other adverse working conditions. The equipment, tools and tasks involved frequently require special care to avoid serious injuries. Occasionally, is exposed to skin irritations from strong cleaning solutions used in stripping floors, etc. and to serious injuries (e.g., broken bones) from falls from ladders and scaffold
