Responsibilities

As a Full‑Time Laborer at the City of Pharr, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the city’s infrastructure by assisting with the installation of water line extensions, new service lines, hydrants, and valves. Your responsibilities will include repairing broken lines through the replacement of sections or the installation of repair clamps, ensuring the reliability of our water services. This position demands physical stamina, as you’ll perform heavy manual labor related to the repair, maintenance, and construction of water and sewer lines and their associated components.
