We are seeking a Laborer to support some of the most innovative, complex, and large-scale data center and mission‑critical construction projects in the country. This role will be instrumental in delivering RMCI's first‑generation programs as a General Contractor within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments.

As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting construction operations by performing various manual tasks and assisting skilled tradespeople on‑site. Your responsibilities will involve physical labor, maintenance of equipment, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning debris, removing hazards, and erecting barriers or safety signs.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and transport them to designated areas.
  • Demolition Work: Assist in demolition activities by using hand tools and machinery to break down structures or remove debris.
  • Digging and Excavation: Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth using shovels, picks, and other hand tools.
  • Assistance to Tradespeople: Providing support to carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and perform minor repairs on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
  • Cleanup and Organization: Clean and organize work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a tidy and efficient workspace.

Safety Level

This is a safety sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.

  • The inherent responsibilities of your role may include physical working conditions. In order to safely and successfully perform job duties you must be able to:
    • Potentially lift up to 50 pounds
    • Potentially need to do repeated pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (or working above shoulder), walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing
    • Potentially operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc.
