Job summary

Paul Davis of Pittsburgh and Westmoreland County seeks a Laborer to join the team and assist with disaster response, water mitigation, and restoration services. You will perform demolition, tarping, mold remediation, and related tasks under the Mitigation Manager’s supervision.

Responsibilities

• Demolish building materials as part of mitigation projects.
• Perform water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation and carpet cleaning per standards.
• Use a smartphone for essential communications and tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, organized truck.
• Assist in warehousing and on-call duties; support team members.

Reports To: Mitigation Manager

What does a Laborer with Paul Davis of Pittsburgh and Westmoreland County do?

• Serve others within your community in their time of need
• Make a difference for others that have had a disaster strike their property
• Work hard and take pride in completing projects (i.e. mitigating flood and fire damage)
• Be empathetic and show a sense of urgency while communicating through modern technology

Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities):

• Able to perform demolition of building materials.
• High level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, lead abatement and carpet cleaning/reinstallation services according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager.
• Use of personal smart phone for technolical purposes.
• Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
• Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule.
• Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary.
• You will assist other team members as you see opportunities arise.
