Job summary

PTC in Darlington, PA is seeking a Laborer to operate mill components, read tape measures, and ensure production quality and safety. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Candidates should pass a physical and drug screen, have good attendance, and be willing to work all shifts. Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred, and basic computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate mill components using manual and automatic controls.

• Adhere to safety, housekeeping and quality standards; support plant objectives.

If output cost standards not achieved, provide root causes of mill process inefficiency to plant manager for corrective action.* This position is responsible for maintaining production goals through productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste.* Receives instructions and assignments from plant supervision as required.* Performs and records all QA check measurements required by the Quality Manual on product being produced.* Records production and keeps work area clean.* Performs other related work as directed by plant supervision.The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers.
