Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and perform varied construction tasks at job sites.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions or indoors without heating or air conditioning.
• Prepare the job site and warehouse through cleaning and organization.
• Load and deliver materials to job sites and warehouses.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment safely.
• Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.
• Control traffic as needed, setting markers, cones, barricades, and flagging vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site, removing waste debris daily.
• Represent the company to owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and government authorities.
• Follow directions from the on‑site Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, and Labor Foreman.

Qualifications

• Physical strength, hand‑eye coordination, endurance, and flexibility suitable for construction labor.
• Strong concentration and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to five plus years of construction experience; OSHA 10/30 preferred.
• Knowledgeable in construction methods, reading and interpreting construction documents, drafting routine reports and correspondence.
• Proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Regularly bend, stoop, reach, stretch, and lift/push up to 40 lbs.
• Standing and walking regularly, occasionally sitting.
• Exposure to moderate to loud noise, wet/humid conditions, extreme heat, toxic chemicals, and electrical shock.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and sometimes indoors without climate control.
• This position is safety‑sensitive and requires strict adherence to job site safety procedures.
