Job summary

TENAX Technologies is hiring a Laborer to support the US Army Chemical and Biological Center by moving offices, equipment, and furnishings, and assisting with events. You will follow supervisor directions, work independently or with a team, and communicate with staff while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires at least 2 years of laborer/moving experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and an active Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are hiring a Laborer to perform a variety of tasks to include moving offices, equipment, furniture, and assisting with special events and associated tasks.

What you will support:

US Army Chemical and Biological Center

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various tasks to include manually moving stock, materials, loading, and unloading
  equipment/furnishings; and the set up/break down of tables/chairs and ancillary related items.
  
• Follow directions from the Contractor Supervisor and COR while working independently and as a team.
  
• Communicate with the Contractor Supervisor, COR, and other personnel.
  
• Operate a variety of trucks, forklifts, and tools to perform assigned daily tasks to deliver materials or
  equipment (i.e., Maryland Class A Trucks, Buses, etc.).
  
• Pick up and deliver off-post materials and equipment within a 30-mile radius as directed.
  
• Perform tool crib and supply room duties, tracking tools and supplies IAW Army Regulation (i.e., sign-out
  and sign-in).
  
• Deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customers while working collaboratively to
  build professional relationships (i.e., personnel, customers, etc.).
  
• Identify safety concerns to the Contractor Supervisor and other required stakeholders (i.e., DOD, ARMY,
  OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
  
• Handle and transport materials, equipment, and related items for offices, warehouses, and related special
  events.
  
• Provide and assist with the required data to the Contractor Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix
  of all related matters.
  
• Ensure all administrative functions/paperwork are in order relative to receipt documentation
  
• Ensure work orders, or internal paperwork, are accomplished on time and in the required format
  
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail.
  
• Support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY.

Required Experience

• Minimum of (2) Years of Laborer/Moving Experience, High School Diploma/GED, and an active CLASS C
  Driver's License.
