Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a Laborer to safely support concrete crews on demolition, building, highway, and heavy construction sites. The role offers on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within a large, nationwide contractor.

The Laborer must have construction experience (minimum 1 year) and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lifting 50–100 pounds as needed. Granite emphasizes safety and teamwork on every project.

Qualifications

  • Must have construction experience / heavy construction preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience required.
  • Follow specific directions and perform varied duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Measures distances from grade stakes, drives stakes and stretches lines.
  • Mixes concrete using portable mixer and finishes freshly poured concrete.
  • Erects scaffolding, shoring, and braces; assists with layout and forms.
  • Signals operators and handles tools safely in all weather conditions.
