Job summary

Leggett & Platt in Indiana is seeking a Laborer for the Merit Steel location in Kouts. The role requires working Monday through Friday from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

You will perform multiple tasks to keep operations safe and efficient, including supporting wire drawing machines, material handling, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate is organized, capable of multitasking, and willing to adapt to different schedules.

Responsibilities

• Keep wire drawing machines supplied with proper carriers.
• Fill propane.
• Operate and inspect Sweeper.
• Unload trucks.
• Dump barrels.
• Dispose of garbage.
• Dump scrap hoppers.
• Perform all tasks assigned by Supervisor, prioritizing safety above all else.
• Perform plant housekeeping duties as needed.

Shift/Hours: M-F 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. We are seeking a Laborer to join our team at our Merit Steel location in Kouts, Indiana. This role will be responsible for multiple tasks which are essential for ensuring the smooth operation and providing a safe and efficient environment.
