Job summary

RJM Construction, a fast growing, high energy commercial general contracting company headquartered in Golden Valley, Minnesota, is seeking a Laborer for an on-site role at our corporate headquarters in Golden Valley, MN 55427. The position is Safety Sensitive and union wage rates apply.

Core duties include demolition preparation, material handling, site maintenance, and adherence to safety procedures. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected; experience with Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
• Previous experience performing manual labor in the commercial or residential construction industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Adobe Creative Suite, Viewpoint CS and Sage/Timberline experience desirable, but not necessary

Demonstrated Technical Competencies to include:

Demonstrated Professional Competencies to include:

• Represent RJM in a professional manner
• Knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions
• Ability to work independently and complete activities according to work schedule
• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long period of time
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing

This is a Safety Sensitive position.

Valid Union card required

The hourly pay rate for the Union Laborer positions is $37.00 - $46.25. Please note that wage rates are subject to change based on the release of updated union wage rate sheets for the 2027-2028 period.
