Overview

Archer Western Construction is seeking a Common Laborer for the Central Water/Arcadia Water Treatment Plant in Edmond, OK. The role involves physical labor on construction sites, including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects. Tasks may include operating hand and power tools, site preparation, and assisting with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks as instructed by supervisor
• Work with crew members and operate tools such as drills and hammers
• Prepare construction sites, erect scaffolding, dispose of debris, and dig trenches
• Load and unload supplies manually and with equipment

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year of verifiable experience
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffolds/ladders
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
• Adhere to safety policies and communicate effectively
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
