Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking an entry-level construction worker to join our team in Kansas. The role offers growth potential with mentorship and opportunities to participate in community activities and company-sponsored events.

You will support various craft workers on-site, contribute to safe and efficient projects, and learn the Layton Way of delivering quality outcomes. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous development, with the chance to progress into more advanced roles

Summary

Duties

• Provide support to other craft workers on project site of structural construction, heavy concrete construction, demolition, and framing.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas (sweep debris, gather and discard trash, scrap iron and wood, remove snow and ice).
• Identify hazards associated with task assignments and ask questions when clarification is needed.
• Load/unload materials as needed.
• Have minimum tools associated with trade.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety.

Qualifications
