Job summary

Walsh Reclamation is hiring a Laborer to support exploration, excavation, and reclamation operations across mining sites in Nevada. You will perform a variety of physical tasks under supervision to assist crews with construction, maintenance, and restoration while prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in varying weather, and travel to remote job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• MSHA certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Our home office is based in Elko, Nevada, with job sites located throughout the state. Candidates should be prepared to travel to various job sites across Nevada as work assignments require.

Position Summary

The Laborer supports exploration, excavation, and reclamation operations by performing a variety of physical tasks to assist crews with the construction, maintenance, and restoration of mining and exploration sites. Working under the direction of supervisors and equipment operators, this position helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Required Qualifications
  • MSHA certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in mining, exploration, reclamation, construction, or excavation
  • Valid driver's license
• Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing throughout the workday
  • Ability to work extended hours, overtime, and travel to remote job sites as required
  • Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and conduct field inspections
