Job summary

Worley Group, Inc in Baytown, Texas is seeking an entry-level site worker to support daily activities, keep the work area clean, and prepare the site for operations. You will assist in signaling equipment operators, lubricating machinery, and distributing materials according to plans.

Safety and attention to work practices are essential at all times. This role emphasizes hands-on learning in industrial construction/maintenance with opportunities to grow into more advanced tasks on our energy

Responsibilities

• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials
• Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools
• Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps and other temporary structures.
• Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools
• Distribute building materials, machinery, and tools to the appropriate locations according to project plans and specifications

Position Summary

Prepares site for daily work, performs all housekeeping and duties necessary for daily activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials


• Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools


• Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones


• Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps and other temporary structures.
