What you’ll do as a Laborer

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
• Clearly communicate with all team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Help with site restoration efforts
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver’s license (no provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam resulting in a valid medical card
• Previous experience safely operating hand tools and utility trucks is preferred
• May be required to work overtime, after hours, and weekends. May be on-call for emergency call-outs

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and confined spaces, operate vehicles and heavy machinery, use fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift over 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse
