Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Supervisor, Laboratory Training to join the Norcross, GA team. The role focuses on managing training, competency processes, and career progression across laboratory departments.

You will lead curriculum development, ensure SOP adherence, and collaborate with QA, Compliance, and Operations to deliver effective training programs. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of lab experience with 1+ year in training.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work relative to the field of assignment.
• Requires four or more years of laboratory experience.
• Requires one or more years of training or curriculum development experience.
• Must have a working knowledge of laboratory sciences.
• Must obtain a working knowledge of regulatory/quality requirements and perform within all SOPs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage training objectives, curriculum, strategies, policies, and programs.
• Coordinate training activities and competency assessments.
• Evaluate and monitor training programs for effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and timely completion.
• Collaborate with Laboratory operations, Compliance, and QA staff to identify metrics to improve quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with SMEs to produce or revise controlled documents in response to investigations, validations, audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor staff performance and assign workflow schedules; train and mentor new employees.
• Lead team projects for training programs, validations, and SOPs aligned with goals.
• Demonstrate leadership and champion management directives within the department.
