Job Description

• Perform miscellaneous tasks throughout the lab, including cleaning, ordering, discarding of solutions, organizing supplies, and retrieving and returning samples from sample storage.
• Learn to perform monthly maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Prepare samples for analysis and monitor instrumentation with minimum supervision. Instrumentation will also be cleaned and stored appropriately after use.
• Assist with inventory process within the group.
• Perform a variety of organizational tasks to aid in the everyday functionality of the laboratory.
• Perform laboratory cleaning responsibilities of equipment and controlled rooms.
• Work efficiently, document work clearly, and perform responsibilities accurately.
• Special projects as necessary/as directed.

Qualifications:

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Position is Full-Time, Various Days/Hours/Shifts, with additional hours as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
