Compensation: Pay Range: $15.00- $22.75 / hour. Job Description: To perform all duties related to the preparation, distribution, cataloging, and storage of lab specimens for testing. To adhere to departmental specimen identification policies and quality controls. To utilize lab and hospital information systems and provide general administrative support to the laboratory staff in support of laboratory operations, such as filing, record maintenance, responding to client calls, and mail delivery.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Biological Science or health-related field required, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Depending on the unit/department or if the position works directly with patients, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required or required to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
