Animas Surgical Hospital in Durango, CO is seeking a Laboratory Technician Supervisor to coordinate and manage in-house lab operations, reporting to the Director of Outpatient Services.
The ideal candidate will hold a CLS/MLT, have at least 1 year in a high-complexity lab, and demonstrate leadership in testing, QC, Blood Bank, and inventory while ensuring compliance and quality.

Laboratory Technician Supervisor
Responsible for coordination and management of in-house lab operations.

$26.83 to $40.91 (posted hourly range excludes overtime and bonuses which are not guaranteed)
Bachelor's degree with a CLS or MLT certification. Associates degree in an applied science field meeting CLIA's general supervisor qualification.
Minimum 1 year experience working in a high complexity laboratory. Experience with managing personnel and processes.
Position regularly requires use of hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel and crouch. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to use computer keyboard and mouse and lab instrumentation. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Environmental hazards such as chemicals, solvents, needles, needle containers, sharps, blood, body fluids, various infectious/communicable diseases, infectious medical waste, radiation, and/or radioactive materials and/or radioactive waste, proximity to moving mechanical parts. Protective clothing/equipment may be necessary.
