Job summary

Calumet is seeking a Laboratory Technician to analyze samples and report results using established SOPs and LIMS. You will perform a range of analyses, log data, and ensure QC specifications are met while maintaining lab equipment and cleanliness.

This role contributes to product quality across multiple formulations in a dynamic lab environment. Ideal candidates have a college degree or lab experience, are proficient in English, comfortable with measurements, and adaptable to changing workflows.

Qualifications

• College degree or minimum 6 months industrial lab experience.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Comfortable with metric system, calculations, and unit conversions.
• Flexible and adaptable in ever-changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses per Blended Products methodology or SOPs on all samples submitted to lab.
• Log samples into LIMS and report data accurately and timely.
• Approve Production, Bulk, and Blend Samples when within QC Specifications.
• Operate and maintain instruments and equipment per procedures.
• Sample raw material drums and totes, pull and test flush tote samples.
• Maintain clean laboratory glassware and surroundings and organize retain samples.
• Run and troubleshoot issues with instrument check standards and assist with instrument maintenance.
