Job summary

TekWissen is assisting a client in the search for an entry-level Manufacturing support specialist. The role focuses on producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays and supporting GMP/ISO-compliant operations in a laboratory setting.

The successful candidate will perform routine stocking, cleaning, glassware washing, and instrument upkeep while collaborating with laboratory biochemists to meet weekly schedules and maintain 5S standards.

Qualifications

• GMP/ISO familiarity preferred for manufacturing support roles.
• Entry-level position with focus on lab support and manufacturing basics.
• Strong work ethic and professional demeanor required.

Responsibilities

• Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas and other lab duties.
• Performs low complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support including cleaning.
• Glassware washing and material inventory monitoring support.
• Collaborates with laboratory biochemists to order buffers to meet weekly schedule.
• Supports Buffer manufacturing lab as needed and participates in 5S audits.

Job Description:

• This is an entry level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered.
• Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred. Local candidates are preferred.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor
• Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, other lab support duties
• Low complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance and/or cleaning)
• Glassware washing
• Material inventory monitoring support
• Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet weekly schedule
• Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed
• 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations

Education:

• B.S./B.A./A.S. in relevant field or relevant work experience prefferred.
