SGS North America Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to prepare samples and perform tests on disposable paper and hygiene products, following official methods and SOPs.
You will work under supervision, contribute to QA/QC, document results, and support cross-department tasks. A2-level science degree and lab safety experience are preferred, with salary in the stated range.

As the Laboratory Technician, you will prepare samples and analysis following official methods and company/laboratory SOPs. This position performs performance, chemical and physical testing of disposable paper and hygiene consumer products learning multiple industry methods. Experience in science, engineering, pulp and paper or related scientific field is preferred. Works under immediate supervision to perform the following job functions, generally:
Required:
Associates Degree in Natural Sciences or related scientific disciplines preferred
Working in a lab setting with experience following strict safety standards, or equivalent education and experience
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree or above in related scientific disciplines
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word) - Basic user proficiency required Ability to work independently under the direct supervision Ability to execute detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations Ability to follow directions to ensure the end results are accurate and completed with the required timeframe Pay Range: $18.00-$21.00/ hour Additional Information
Pay Range: $18.00-$21.00/ hour
The expected salary for this position is $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
