Position Overview

Join our team in Plymouth, MN, where you will play a crucial role in supporting food safety and quality assurance operations. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting routine analytical and laboratory testing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of in-process and final product assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analysis and monitor instrumentation performance.
• Document test results in databases and communicate findings both verbally and in writing.
• Utilize safe laboratory practices to protect yourself and others.
• Attend safety meetings regularly and perform preventive maintenance and calibration of complex equipment.
• Support trials and experiments under the guidance of senior team members.
• Resolve issues by examining data and selecting corrective actions.
• Assist in evaluating and interpreting complex data, consulting with senior personnel as needed.
• Maintain laboratory supplies by managing inventory, placing orders, and verifying receipts.
• Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical, or customer support tasks with minimal supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, secondary education level, or equivalent.
• Four years of related work experience.
• Proven knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and management ISO 17025 accreditations or standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a laboratory or food manufacturing environment.
