Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing in Lancaster, PA is hiring a Laboratory Technician II (Wet Chemistry) to join our team. The role supports routine sample analysis, prepares reagents, and maintains lab records in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid training is available at our Richmond, VA facility, with full-time hours Monday through Friday and a target pay of $19–$22 hourly. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and some chemistry coursework or experience.

Position Summary: The Laboratory Technician II, using general laboratory methods, techniques, equipment, and instrumentation in compliance with Eurofins Environment Testing America’s Quality Assurance programs and standard operating procedures, supports laboratory operations through general maintenance of laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies. Supports team as requested with problem solving, planning, process improvement and production as experience allows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performs sample preparation which may include, but is not limited to, a
• combination of the following methods:
  • Aliquot samples
  • Spike and trace samples
  • Prepare reagents
  • Bottle samples
  • Prepare concentrations
  • Separation
  • Sonication
  • Liquid rack set up
• Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled.
• Prepares general laboratory paperwork such as recording analysis results, tracking samples, bench sheets, and laboratory logbooks.
• Washes laboratory glassware to prepare for next day’s samples.
• Stocks laboratory supplies.
• Purges samples to be discarded and boxes samples to be stored.
• Cleans work area(s) to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assists other laboratory areas as needed.

This role will be located at the Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environment testing lab in Lancaster, PA. Must be willing to train offsite at the Richmond, VA Industrial Hygiene lab.

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):

Education/Experience (BMQ):

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience

Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):

• General knowledge of chemistry and/or general science
• Basic mathematical skills
• Good organizational skills

• Work within time constraints

Must be willing to train in Richmond, VA.

Requirements:

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English

Position is full-time Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. Must be willing to train in Richmond, VA.

Pay range:$19-22/hr.
