The University of Iowa is seeking a Laboratory Technician II for its Pathology Department. This role involves technical support and coordination of specimen handling and client service in the laboratory. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a starting salary of $38,314.80.
The Department of Pathology is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to, under general supervision, provides technical and other computer/clerical support related to the accessioning and client service functions of an outreach reference laboratory.Performs a variety of triaging tasks related to receiving and processing client specimens through to University of Iowa Health Care laboratories for complex testing in an efficient manner. Act as a liaison with clients and laboratory staff to coordinate specimen preparation, transport, and complex testing. This position is 100%-time, Monday- Friday, from 0800-1700.
