Job summary

HRMD/Texas Pain Physicians in Dallas, TX seeks a Lab Technician/Certifying Scientist to ensure laboratory procedures comply with COLA/CLIA regulations. You will maintain procedures, perform data reviews, interpret drug metabolism, and report patient results to physicians.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or biochemistry and at least 1 year of Certifying Scientist experience, with Sciex 4500 LC/MS/MS and Multiquant software familiarity. No travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or biochemistry from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certifying Scientist.
• Experience with high complexity testing including sample preparation, screening, and confirmation testing.
• Knowledge of Sciex 4500 LC/MS/MS instrumentation and Multiquant software is required.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Lab Technician/Certifying Scientist (LT/CS) will ensure that all laboratory procedures are conducted in compliance with COLA/CLIA regulations. The LT/CS will follow and maintain knowledge of all laboratory procedures and fulfill other tasks as requested. Maintain excellent communication with all personnel.

Essential Functions

• Operate and troubleshoot Sciex 4500 LC/MS/MS instrumentation.
• Perform data review
• Understand and interpret drug metabolism
• Accurately report patient results to physicians
• Maintain lab established turnaround time.
• Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and quality requirement
• Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedure.
• Sample preparation for testing
• Good attendance is expected of all employees as a normal condition of work
• Perform other tasks as requested

Educational & Experience Requirements

Compensation

$25 - $27 per hour depending on experience
