Job summary

Bioivt in Woodbury, NY is hiring a Laboratory Technician I to support the creation of finished goods from raw materials in our human and animal processing lab. The role focuses on following SOPs, recording data accurately, and maintaining compliance with GLP/GMP standards.

You will work Monday through Friday in a safety-conscious environment, handle basic lab tasks, and collaborate with documentation, inventory, and shipping teams. A BS degree or 1 year lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree or 1 year clinical/research lab experience preferred.
• Candidate should be passionate about working in a lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Processing of human and animal biological samples to finished goods, per SOPs.
• Create detailed records of all processes, data, and results per work instructions.
• Coordinate with documentation, inventory, and shipping teams to ensure timely finished goods.
• Maintain a clean and safe processing environment, follow safety guidelines and regulations.
• Assist with general upkeep of laboratory and inventory of consumables.
