Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for our Deer Park, TX facility. The role focuses on handling samples, maintaining records, and upholding strict lab safety in a dynamic, quality-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma (or higher) and may hold an Associate's or Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field. Prior lab experience is a plus; strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis and determine volumes.
• Prepare reagents for lab use and/or shipment.
• Sample extractions and maintaining organized records of preparation and analysis.
• Maintain clean laboratory areas and ensure safety procedures.
• Support Group Leaders and analysts in inventorying consumables and equipment.
• Dispose of laboratory waste following prescribed procedures and QA/Health & Safety plans
