Job summary

Onterris in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Full-Time Laboratory Equipment Technician to join our Air (Equipment) team. You’ll help prepare, calibrate, certify and repair environmental sampling equipment, and support daily lab operations to deliver accurate results for clients.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical skills, proficiency with MS Office, hands-on equipment work, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
  • Strong MS Office skills and ability to use lab equipment
  • Must have strong mechanical skills and enjoy daily tool work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely and stand/move for long periods
  • Preferred: knowledge of lab safety and general lab practices

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operation, maintenance and repair of environmental sampling equipment
  • Handle daily shipping, receiving and processing of equipment requests and samples
  • Calibrate, certify and repair air sampling equipment
  • Maintain clean lab areas and organized records
  • Track inventory across multiple sites and support lab operations
  • Follow Onterris Quality Assurance and Health & Safety plans
  • Additional duties as assigned by Lab Director or Group Leader
