Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Laboratory Technician to analyze used water samples and support quality control efforts in a laboratory setting. Under the project manager, you will perform chemical, biological, and physical tests and compile data for reports.

The role requires an associate degree with chemistry or biology coursework, bilingual abilities, and up to two years of related experience. You will operate analytical equipment and maintain lab documentation in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with chemistry or biology coursework preferred.
• Bilingualism in spoken and written English/other languages as applicable.
• Zero to two years of related lab experience with ability to use lab apparatus for accurate results.
• Experience with analytical chemistry equipment such as gas chromatograph and calorimeter.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis.
• Complete laboratory documentation.
• Perform equipment maintenance as per procedures.
• Monitor non-standard results with the coordinator.
• Perform laboratory maintenance tasks as needed by the department head.
• Carry out other duties compatible with function when required by supervisor.
