The position emphasizes dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team. The pay range is $20.75 per hour with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm shift.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with three years of related experience, or an Associate degree or B.S. in a Science-related field with one year of related experience.
  • Reliability and accountability in completing tasks accurately and on time.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Good communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine analytical testing, sample preparation, and general lab support activities using established methods and GLP.
  • Manage samples by receiving, processing, tracking, preparing, shipping, and disposing of analysis requests.
  • Perform routine chemical and physical testing on food-grade samples to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, scientists, and lab team members to organize weekly workload and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Accurately record results, enter data into systems, and generate routine reports.

As a Laboratory Technician I, you will be part of the Science & Analytical Projects supporting laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician I

Location: Marysville, OH

Pay Range: $20.75

Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?
  • Support Science & Analytical projects by performing routine analytical testing, sample preparation, and general laboratory support activities using established methods and Good Laboratory Practices.
  • Manage samples by receiving, processing, tracking, preparing, shipping, and disposing of analytical sample requests.
  • Perform routine chemical and physical testing on food-grade samples to ensure quality and safety standards.
