Qualifications

A Day in the Life

As part of our Durham team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing shipping supplies for sampling events
  • Receiving and analyzing samples using Method 325B
  • Operating GC/MS instrumentation safely and effectively
  • Maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment
  • Documenting supplies and procedures accurately
  • Participating in efficiency improvement projects
  • Assisting with inventory and supply management
  • Adhering to quality assurance and safety protocols
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred)
  • Laboratory experience is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of analytical methods, instruments, and lab safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
