Job summary

ALS is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to perform a range of tests, calibrations, and data entry in a safety‑focused environment. You will follow SOPs, maintain instrumentation, load data, and ensure accuracy and timely reporting while meeting production targets and quality guidelines.

You will work under ISO 17025 and local QA policies, store and dispose of samples properly, keep a clean workspace, and collaborate with teammates to solve problems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or laboratory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of good laboratory practice.
• Comfortable in high paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests as outlined by SOPs.
• Perform calibrations, standardization and SPC tests.
• Routine maintenance of testing instrumentation.
• Complete paperwork used to track tests and their validity.
• Load data for tests performed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Accurately recording personal production and meeting production requirements.
• Route samples for additional testing as outlined by SOPs.
• Store and dispose of samples properly.
• Comply with local and corporate quality assurance policies and ISO 17025 lab accreditation requirements.
