Job summary

Boviteq in Madison, WI is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support advanced reproductive technologies, including IVF and embryo production. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you will perform routine and specialized lab procedures with high accuracy and align with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

You will contribute to embryo production, maturation, fertilization, culture, and handling of embryos for shipment, while maintaining equipment, data entry, and strict record keeping.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of microscopes, pipetting and aseptic techniques is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Previous agriculture experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Embryo Production process.
• Maturation, fertilization, and culture of bovine oocytes.
• Freezing, grading, and packaging of embryos for shipment.
• Comply with production SOPs, schedules and USDA export regulations.
• Maintain and monitor materials, equipment and data entry.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician in Madison, WI to fill a vacancy and join our Team. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, plays a key role in supporting Boviteq USA's advanced reproductive technologies, including IVF, embryo production, and related laboratory processes. This position is responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory procedures with a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail. The technician ensures all work is completed in alignment with established protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
