Compensation: Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.75 / hour. Job Description: To perform duties related to the preparation, distribution, cataloging, and storage of lab specimens. To adhere to specimen identification policies and quality controls. To utilize lab and hospital information systems and provide administrative support such as filing, record maintenance, responding to client calls, and mail delivery.
Qualifications: An Associate's degree in Biological Science or a health-related field is required, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Depending on the department or patient interaction, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association may be required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
