Key Responsibilities

• You will be part of the Organics team within Customer Analytical Services (CAS) group, which serves customers within the pulp & paper and water treatment industries.

• You will be responsible for receiving, drying, and bottling customer samples, cutting fabrics for further analysis, and ashing samples to determine inorganic content within a mid to high sample volume laboratory.

• You will be responsible for setting up and operating laboratory equipment according to standard operating procedures to support the development of new technologies.

• You will be responsible for recording experimental data, making calculations, presenting data, and communicating progress.

• Responsible for safe working conditions and adheres to local, federal, and institutional safety regulations and policies

Qualifications

• You have an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, a closely related field of study, or relevant industrial experience.

• Scientific knowledge and ability to understand and carry out standard methods relevant to the department.

• Strong communication skills

• You have experience working with standard laboratory equipment and MS Office.
