Location: Worthington, Ohio 43229

Position title: Lab Technician

Shift: On-site M-F with flex hours (6-3pm,7-4pm,8-5pm,9-6pm).

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Must haves:

• HS Diploma/GED
• 1+ years’ experience in lab environment working with cement, pavement, asphalt, rock, or soil testing
• OR recent college graduate with a background in environmental studies/Geotechnology/agriculture with an internship or co-op experience
• Basic understanding of lab procedures and operations
• Strong attention to detail

Plusses:

• Asphalt or soil lab certificates or trainings

Job Description:

This candidate will be supporting the log of work for one of Insight Global’s clients. Candidates will be working in a lab environment following procedures and processes already set in place completing moisture content testing, sample testing, analyzing samples, labeling, logging sample information and other required duties for cement, pavement, asphalt, rock, and soil samples.
