Job summary

You will work on experiments, analyses, and reporting; maintain notebooks, and contribute to formulation and testing activities in a small, remote team setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in chemistry or a related scientific field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, polymer science, or related area is preferred.
• Experience in chemical laboratories and adherence to safety/hygiene protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain detailed lab notes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project leaders to conduct experiments and research activities.
• Perform chemical/microbiological analyses using various techniques and instrumentation.
• Report findings through written reports and presentations; maintain lab notebooks and records.
• Conduct formulation work, application testing, and basic chemistry tests.
• Package products for shipment to external labs for preclinical testing.

• What you'll be doing:Collaborating closely with project leaders to conduct experiments and research activities
• Performing chemical and/or microbiological analyses using a variety of techniques and instrumentation
• Reporting findings through written reports and presentations, maintaining accurate laboratory notebooks and records
• Conducting formulation work, application testing, and basic chemistry and analytical tests
• Packaging products for shipment to external labs for preclinical testing
• Required Education & Experience:Associate degree in chemistry or a related scientific field (required); Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, polymer science, or related area preferred
• Bring experience working in chemical laboratories, adhering strictly to safety and hygiene protocols
• Are skilled in following SOPs, conducting routine laboratory processes, and maintaining detailed laboratory notes
• Are proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Are eager to support your team, learn new skills, and take initiative in a small, remote team setting
• Have experience or interest in analytical techniques such as titrations, HPLC/GPC (preferably with Agilent software), UV spectrometry, NMR, TGA, and standard chemical tests (e.g., pH, moisture content, chlorine titration)
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
