Job Title: Scientific - Laboratory Technician

Location: Torrance, CA (Onsite)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Shift: 2nd shift, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Description:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Be cross-trained to work in various departments with rotating responsibilities:
• Sorbent Room: Accurately weigh and label sorbents; select appropriate empty column assemblies (order from product assembly if needed).
• Product Assembly: Assemble empty column hardware, including end fittings, frits, and tubing.
• Security Guard: Pack different sorbents into security guard hardware.
• Recycling: Unpack columns and recycle materials according to procedures.

The essential requirements for this role include:

• High school diploma plus 1 year of relevant experience.
• Requires analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on task accuracy.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience ensuring inventory accuracy through timely transactions and cycle counts under supervision.
• Ability to follow written instructions (SOPs) for critical processes.
• Effective scheduling to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
