Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Quality - Operations professional to audit production lines for safety and quality compliance, train operators on quality standards, and ensure rapid containment of non-conforming parts. The role emphasizes adherence to control plans, initiating QRAPs, and supporting continuous improvement.

Candidates should be prepared to participate in 5 Axes projects and quality alert initiatives. The position is full-time and based on site at the Reno, NV facility, offering opportunities

Qualifications

• Audits production lines to verify safety and quality work instructions.
• Train operators on quality requirements and certify Level 2 of the Magic Square.
• Identify and secure suspect or non-conforming products to prevent use or shipment.

Responsibilities

• Audit release of the first piece on lines/machines per standard.
• Attend and participate in ongoing training for the position.
• Escalate deviations with Quality Engineer and Manager; open and monitor QRAP.
• Participate in Stop Scrap analyses and 5 Axes activities.
• Prepare Quality Alerts and train concerned teams on content.
