Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform testing and support environmental and industrial analyses. You will prioritize safety, operate and maintain lab instrumentation, and ensure QA/QC and accurate documentation.

Bachelor's degree is required; 1+ year lab experience is preferred. Strong teamwork and compliance with procedures are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field required.
• 1+ year environmental/industrial laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
• Completes material analysis to determine characteristics and waste profiles of all incoming waste samples in accordance with laboratory operations and procedure manuals
• Completes analysis of samples from plant systems to confirm conformance with proper operating limits, and residual analysis from incineration processes to determine land disposal restrictions
• Operates and assists with the productive maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and equipment
• Utilizes and upholds good laboratory practices (e.g. QA/QC, safety, documentation, maintenance/minor repairs, housekeeping, professionalism)
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
